Because every child deserves every bit of love and attention, right? Unfortunately not…
For approximately 100,000 children in the Netherlands, this is not the case; they are “forgotten”. They live in foster families, shelters or unsafe home situations where they are not given the space to develop and grow.
We cannot always prevent them from having a difficult home life, but together we can form a safety net for these children. By listening to them and really seeing them. By standing up for them with policymakers, thereby improving youth care. By working with many volunteers to give them a carefree, unforgettable time where they can just be children again.
